Book Reviews Reloaded: Petty

This article first appeared on East Niagara Post on February 23, 2016. It is repeated here as I work to put all my book reviews in one place. They will be posted on Thursdays or Fridays and only be altered from the original in that I will add publisher information and pages. Hopefully, by revisiting these reviews, other people might find a book they'd like to pick up for their own enjoyment.

Petty: The Biography -- Warren Zanes
Henry Holt & Co.
336 Pages

I love music, and there are a few bands that I really like. When a book comes out as an authorized biography of an artist of one of those musicians, I have to read it. This time, I had to wait a few days as it had to be ordered into my local library. Once it came in, it was a quick read. Consideration to Warren Zanes’ career as a member of the Del Fuegos lends a level of credence that may not be as apparent with other writers.
