St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Lockport NY will be the topic of a presentation sponsored by the Niagara County Genealogical Society, featuring author Shelley Richards on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at 7 PM at the All Saints Parish Hall, 76 Church St in Lockport.
Ms. Richards has already completed one book on the topic and is now underway with Volume II. She will highlight some of the cemeteries history as well as share new historical findings and interesting facts. Some of the delightful stories of “residents” of the cemetery will be highlighted from her Volume I book and there will be a listing of some of the new biographies being planned for Volume II. Old Cemetery maps will be on display as well as a map of the new section – Section C - currently being readied for interments.
Ms. Richards is still looking for family members to submit biographies for publication in Volume II. How to get your story published in Volume II will also be discussed.
