The Lockport Express had a rare off weekend as a pair of games were postponed in Massachusetts against the East Coast Minutemen. Those games have been rescheduled for February 25-26 at the Essex Sports Center. In the meantime, maybe the extra rest and planning will help the Express as they take on league-leading Binghamton Junior Senators.
Binghamton took on the Cape Cod Islanders in two games over the last weekend. The Junior Senators took both games, each with a score of 8-1. Dominik Bogdziul continues the lead the team 38 points (14G, 24A). Meanwhile, the team has a stranglehold atop the division with a record of 31-0-0-1 and 27 points. Second place Jersey Shore has 12 less points.
Lockport’s first game this weekend will be Saturday evening at 8:00pm at Cornerstone Ice Arena in historic downtown Lockport. That match will be followed up on Sunday at 2:00pm, again at the Cornerstone Ice Arena.
