Catching Up With the Lockport Express: Week 5

The Lockport Express are back in Lockport for a home game at the Cornerstone Ice Arena Friday evening at 8pm. After a rather lengthy road trip, the Express will face off against the Pittsburgh Vengeance.

Pittsburgh has won the last two games after starting the season on a five game skid. The team is lead by Anthony Szurlej who has 5 points (1G, 4A), and Dominick Glavach who has 4 goals. Goaltending duties are split between Jacob Hough, Nikoloas Manousos, and Jacob Zab.

Meanwhile, Lockport continues to be led by the trio of Dominic Senese, Luca Mazzo, and Andrew Logar. They account for 13 of Lockport’s 20 goals, and have combined for 28 points so far on the season. The Express also added a new player to the roster. Michael Sokol, who last played for the Buffalo Regals, will be wearing #9 as a forward for the Express.

Friday’s game is the first in a home and home series with Pittsburgh. After the home game at Cornerstone Ice Arena, the Express will travel to Pittburgh for another match Saturday at 6:30PM at the Alpha Ice Complex.
