The regional winners are Monopoly, Yahtzee, Clue, and Uno. The only one who won handily was Monopoly, and it did so by outlasting Risk in the Rainy Day Region.
Yahtzee pulled out a last second win over Rummy in the Classics, Cards, and Dice Region. The popular dice game will face Monopoly in one of the semifinal matchups. Monopoly, out of the Rainy Day Region, is the lone top seed remaining and Yahtzee, a no. 3 seed, has proven to be scrappy. Will it have enough support to advance?
The other side of the bracket features a semifinal matchup between our lowest remaining seed and a crowd favorite seeded second. Clue outsmarted Battleship in the Nostalgia Regional Final by a 3-to-1 margin as it advanced. Seeded fifth, it will now match wits with the second-seeded game in the Game Night Region, Uno, which knocked out its region’s top seed, The Game of Life.
To recap, the Fun Four matchups are:
No. 1 Monopoly (Rainy Day) vs.No. 3 Yahtzee ( Classics, Cards, & Dice)
No. 5 Clue (Nostalgia) vs. No. 2 Uno (Game Night)
Twitter Polls for the Fun Four are up now. Voting lasts until mid-morning Sunday. The Championship Round will then be posted with voting going through April 7 (note the change from the previously announced date).
