Soaring With the PowerHawks Week 3

The Niagara Falls PowerHawks are coming home from New Jersey with a tough pair of losses to the Skylands Kings last weekend. They are back in action this Saturday and Sunday with a home and home series against rivals, Roc City Royals. Saturday’s game, at the Lakeshore Hockey Arena in Rochester, will get underway at 8:30pm. Sunday’s contest at the Hyde Park Ice Arena is slated to get underway at 1:00pm.

Skylands was able to take both games over the weekend. The first game was a 4-2 victory Saturday night, followed up by a 10-4 win the following afternoon. The PowerHawks hope a return home will help change their recent luck.

The Roc City Royals have only played two games so far this weekend, both losses. The opening game was a 10-1 loss to Southern Tier Xpress two weeks ago. Last weekend, they dropped a 6-1 decision to Oswego. The Royals are also hoping a couple of games against their heated rivals will change their luck.
