LOCKPORT—Power was restored at the Niagara County Courthouse and Civil Defense building shortly before 3 p.m. today, County Manager Rick Updegrove announced.
County employees of agencies that were closed today due to a power and telephone outage caused by Wednesday’s wind storm were:
- County Attorney
- County Clerk
- Commissioner of Jurors
- Courtrooms
- District Attorney
- Legislature Clerk
- Historian
- Public Defender
- Pistol Permit
With power restored, county employees are being advised to return to work at their normal reporting time Friday morning. All affected government facilities will be reopened to the public at that time.
