This is a new idea from Craig's mind. Hopefully he can convince George, Howie, Wendy, and the rest of the staff to contribute occasionally. He was checking out garage sales and took a couple of photos from around town. Sometimes, there could be a cool story behind them. Or, they might just be something that grabbed attention. This is the front door to the UAW Hall on Walnut Street. Nearly 125 years ago, these doors opened to the students of Lockport as they attended the Walnut Street School. For 62 years, the East End children attended this building. Imagine the stories that these old walls could tell! Since 1946, the old school has been home to UAW Local 686.
