Niagara's Watercooler is looking for people who have a passion for what they do and want a platform to reach people with similar interests!
We are not a news website. We are an entertainment and information website. We like to give people advice on how to do stuff, give our opinions, and keep the community updated on local events of interest.
Right now, Craig and George generate the majority of the content for the site, but we need other voices.
Do you have a hobby you are passionate about? Then write about it on Niagara's Watercooler!
Are you an expert in something and you want to help others? Write about it here!
Do you own a business and want another way to reach out to an audience of prospective customers? Then write about your industry with us!
We prefer people who are interested in generating weekly content, but we will talk about bi-weekly and monthly as well. We don't care who else you write for. All we ask is that you meet your weekly commitment for your content to the Watercooler. We also don't care where else your content is published, so long as you give us the rights to publish your content and use it for our marketing purposes.
Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to pay for content right now (Hey! We are still new), so all we can offer you at this point is exposure for your ideas. Our audience is growing every week, and we will be introducing our audio and video offerings very soon. As the Watercooler grows, everyone involved will benefit.
We don't care if you are a professional, but we do expect you to submit content that is edited and ready to be published. We have no word limits and any topic will be considered (within reason and at our discretion).
Contact us at NiagarasWatercooler@gmail.com and pitch us your idea. Just tell us what you want to write about, and how you will be able to generate enough content to maintain a weekly column.
We have no restrictions (with the exception of questionable content). We do not base our decisions for writers on age, geographic location, or anything other than whether or not your ideas are interesting. You will get a byline, and we would be more than happy to allow you to link to your own site if you have one. But we will not accept links within your content (Google frowns on that).
We look forward to hearing from you!
