New York State Women, Inc To Hold October Dinner Meeting

The Niagara Frontier Chapter, New York State Women, Inc. will hold their October dinner meeting on Tuesday, October 24 at 6:00 pm at Pane's Restaurant, 984 Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda.  The community is invited and you do not have to be a member to attend.
Just in time for Halloween, Author, Christina Abt, will share the spooky side  behind the story of her historical fiction novel, Crown Hill, A Novel of Love, Life and The Afterlife.Speaker

Crown Hill is the story of a local house and the lives shaped and connected by their experiences within its walls. In Christina's presentation, audience members will become entwined with actual Western New York residents including Edward Randall, a prominent Buffalo attorney. They will “meet” a direct voice medium from Rochester named, Emily French, who became nationally renowned for her ability to channel the spirit of Seneca Chief, Red Jacket. And just for fun, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle will make an appearance for some international flair!

Their stories and many more will be shared by Christina as they have been revealed to her by the one who knows them best—Crown Hill.

Christina’s first book, “Chicken Wing Wisdom: Western New York Stories of Family, Life and Food Shared Around the Table” became a regional best-seller (chickenwingwisdom.com). “Crown Hill,” Christina’s first novel, continues to be popular, earning a collection of five-star Amazon reviews.  Her third book, “Heart and Soul, The Best Years of My Op-Ed Life” chronicles Christina’s long-running newspaper and radio commentary career. She is currently working on her next novel, “Beauty and Grace” due out in 2018.

The dinner cost is $23, and you would choose from a menu of entree items.  Reservations are required and may be made by calling Leslie at 716-694 0574, or Phyllis at 716-744-2650.  Please leave a message if needed.  Deadline for reservations is Friday, October 20.
