Catching Up With the Lockport Express Week 17

The Lockport Express are coming off a pair of wins over the Roc City Royals as they chase them for the final playoff spot in the Northeast Division. Lockport currently trails the Royals by 9 points, with two games in hand. This weekend, the Express will play a trio of games against the Syracuse Stampede at the Cornerstone Ice Arena in downtown Lockport.

The Stampede are coming off a weekend where they won two of three games against the Jersey Shore Wildcats. They won 3-1 in game one, 4-3 in game two, and lost 4-2 in the final matchup. The Stampede are currently in third place in the division.

Five of those points were goals. Goalie, Sam Fitzpatrick received an Honorable Mention for the week in the same award.

After dropping two games against Lockport, Roc City went on to defeat the Southern Tier Xpress in overtime 4-3 Sunday afternoon. They will host a pair of games against the Northeast Generals on Saturday and Sunday.
