The Lockport Express will have a pair of games this weekend, a home and home series with the neighboring Roc City Royals. The first game, Friday night, will be at the Lakeshore Hockey Arena at 8:30pm. The second half of the series will be at the Cornerstone Ice Arena in downtown Lockport Saturday evening at 8:00pm.
The Express are coming off a trio of games in New Jersey against the Skylands Kings where they won the first game, but dropped the next two. The losses dropped Lockport to last place in the Northeast Division, a single point behind the Kings. Roc City sits eleven points ahead of Lockport in the standings.
Roc City is coming off a split with the Northeast Generals last weekend. They were 4-2 victors Saturday, but dropped the second game 5-2. They are 4-6 in the last 10 games, while Lockport has won 5 of the last 10.
